Luckily, authentic Oktoberfest beers are founded on the beer-making principle Reinheitsgebot, dictating the only necessary ingredients are water, grain, hops, and yeast. That makes it healthy, right? Good to know for after Oktoberfest!
Although many cities celebrate Oktoberfest, the OG festival in Germany only features breweries that exist within the limits of the city and follow Reinheitsgebot. Both Augustiner-Bräu and Paulaner – beers that can be found at Oktoberfest – are both vegan friendly. Danke schön!
