Spiked Rosemary Lemonade

Mixing a fragrant fresh herb like rosemary does something amazing to lemon, taking this cocktail to the next level. There is no other way to describe it other than grown-up lemonade!

Rosemary Simple syrup

1/2 cup organic sugar

1/2 cup water

2 sprigs rosemary

Ingredients

1 ounce Rosemary Simple Syrup

1 ½ oz fresh lemon juice

2 oz vodka

club soda, to taste

Garnish

1 sprig rosemary

1 strip lemon peel

Prep

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat.

Rosemary Simple Syrup

Add water, organic sugar, and rosemary sprigs to the saucepan.

Heat and stir until sugar is fully dissolved.

Remove from heat and let stand until room temperature.

Place in a small container and refrigerate until use.

Method

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, lemon juice, and rosemary simple syrup over ice.

Shake well and serve over ice.

Add a splash of club soda to taste.

Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon peel.

Notes + Serving Tips

Rosemary simple syrup can be made ahead and stored for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

Switch up your alcohols to experiment with different flavors. We love it with bourbon as well!
