Spicy Grapefruit Margarita

It’s #NationalMargaritaDay, and of course we are celebrating!

We like our margaritas ice cold with a spicy kick! Try our Jalapeño-Infused Grapefruit Margarita.

Whip up a marg with friends or for yo self to celebrate!

Jalapeño Infused Tequila*

1 750 ml bottle of tequila (silver or blanco)

2 jalapeños, halved and seeded

Margarita

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 tsp raw agave nectar

2 oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

1 1/2 oz Jalapeño-Infused Tequila*

garnish

1 tsp chili powder

1 lime peel

1 grapefruit round

1 Tbsp Kosher salt

Jalapeño-Infused Tequila

In a large jar, pour the bottle of tequila and add the jalapeño.

Seal the jar tightly.

Store at room temperature for at least 24 hours to infuse.

MARGARITA

In a cocktail shaker with ice add fresh lime juice, raw agave nectar, grapefruit juice and jalapeño-infused tequila.

Shake well.

garnish

In a small bowl, combine the Kosher salt and chili powder.

Mix well and place on a flat surface for using to rim the glass.

Notes + Serving Tips

Take the lime peel and rub the outside along half of the rim of one margarita glass.

Dip the margarita glass in the salt garnish to coat.

Pour in the shaken margarita.

Garnish with grapefruit round.

Pairs perfectly with Guac.
