Good Enough for Cinderella
Looking to load up on pumpkin for your Fall recipes?
Instead of picking up canned pumpkin at your local market, take advantage of the season and visit a local farm and pick your pumpkin straight off the vine. There are many farms less than an hour from the city in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We’ve selected a few of our favorites that offer pumpkin picking, hayrides, fall baked goods, and more.
Note*: Decorate your pumpkins by spray-painting or stenciling, or carve it into a jack-o-lantern. To help your carved pumpkin last longer, carefully spray bleach on the cut areas, and rub petroleum jelly inside and out.
